Dr Micheal Nwokeiwu
Financial/Strategic Officer

Dr Michael Nwokeiwu is a Chartered Accountant & Registered Tax Agent in Australia. He is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand (ICAANZ), a Registered Tax Agent; has B.Sc & M.Sc degrees and a Doctorate (PhD) Degree in Business Administration from University of South Australia amongst other qualifications. He has served various communities for over 17 years in various capacities.

Dr Michael is the Financial/Strategy officer of Organisation of African Community (OAC). He migrated to Australia from Nigeria in 2001. He has served and still serving African community based organisations in various capacities to date. He was the Financial Secretary of Igbo Association in WA, (IAWA), currently he is a Finance Committee member of Nigerian Association in WA, (NAWA). He is an Elder in Igbo Association in WA, providing valuable advice to the association.

Michael is also the Financial Adviser and Accountant of IBNA – Immigrant Business Networking Association – a not for profit association empowering immigrants to achieve greater success and prosperity in their businesses.
He loves his community and assist well in community events.

Dr Michael is the founding Partner, and a Director of MUN Accountants & Business Advisers (www.munaccountants.com.au). He has over 20 year’s practical experience in professional practice. He spent over 7 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and held senior managerial positions at various accounting firms across Australia and overseas. Dr Michael was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a Multi-National Company where he acquired valuable commerce financial skills and experience.

Dr Michael is also a director of Aussie Tax Professionals Pty Ltd, a Chartered Accountancy practice firm based in Perth and serving local and international clients. Michael is also a director and board member of many companies.
