Who we are

About
Jambo Africa Festival is the largest annual gathering of the WA African Communities under the stewardship of OACWA. The colorful festival brings the vibrance of the Africa Continent to Perth with an incredible selection of exciting music, traditional dancing, diverse artistic and cultural performances, and authentic African cuisine that define our cultural value and identity.

This community-friendly, free, two-day festival typically draws Western Australians from diverse backgrounds. The festival, run by OACWA, has members from over forty African nations. More than 15,000 people attend the festival every year, and Jambo 2023 is expected to hold more than 20,000 people.
